SPONSORSHIP
We get the question often of how can people help us in the pursuit of our Iditarod goal. We are truly blessed with a large family and friend base. Without them, we truly wouldn’t be able to accomplish this. From sewing thousands of dog booties, to shoveling out our driveway each snow storm, we have some of the best people supporting us with their own God given abilities. Here are a few things we still need help with.
PRAYER AND
ENCOURAGEMENT
Prayer for the dogs and mushers safety/ health.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Sharing is caring. Sharing gains a larger audience which can reach a larger corporate sponsorship base. This REALLY is important and can help. Also, tell your friends. Invite them to our next speaking engagement.
PHOTOGRAPHY/ VIDEOGRAPHY
It would be great to have professional pictures taken of the family and dogs and help with filming and putting together videos for promotional uses and sending to potential sponsors.
WRITING AND WEBSITE HELP
Do you have website skills or writing skills? Please let me know. I’d love help with the managing a website and social media.
MECHANICAL WORK
We always have mechanical needs for the "polar bear" or Dog truck. She's solid but needs a little help every once in a while.
YURT AND
DOG SIT
Would you like a weekend away at a Yurt? Would you mind watching/feeding our other dogs that are staying home while we are gone for training or a race?
FROZEN MEAT
Do you have frozen meat with freezer burn that you aren’t going to eat? If it's safe (and local), we would love to take it to feed to our dogs. Each day our dogs eat a 1/2 lb of raw meat each. That's a lot of meat.
BEAVER MEAT
Do you or a friend trap animals? Beaver meat is a rare treat for the dogs. When training and race miles get high, the most important thing to help the team to keep going is having the dogs continue to eat. If they don’t, and start to lose too much weight, they will need to be pulled from the team or race. Beaver is the one thing that they will always eat. The team will use the entire carcass. No one said dog food was fine dining.
FOX TAILS
Fox tails are also needed to be added to the bottom side of dog jackets.
